Hola Amigos!
Thank you for your prayers.

Yesterday morning a team went and painted a church, Amor Fraternal.
They painted the inside and out of the building. The outside was a difficult task since the walls of the buliding were so course. The inside went quicky and looked pretty good when we were finished.

Another team went to Visitation `Altares Invasion and the medical team went to the Trique community.

In the afternoon, a group of women went to the women´s prison and then to a women´s coffee in the evening.

The children´s team went to a childrens home, Cruz Galvez in the afternoon. These children are at the home, the orphanage, for several reasons. Some are there because the parents cannot afford school and do not care about the education for their children. Most of them do not have parents. They come and stay there all week and on the weekends would stay at a friends or some other family members home.
It was a great time where it brought joy and tears to the team members. We had about sixty children where we had the chanse to introduce ourselves and share the gospel with them through a skit Sari and another girl put on and also through the wordless book bracelets. We had the children make the bracelets themselves.
It was impacting emotionally and spiritually. It is hard to imagine that the love that we and a few others are showing them is probably the only love they are receiving. I hope these kids were impacted as much as we were impacted and I hope to see them again in eternity.

Today in the morning most of us are headed out to Plan de Ayala to paint the high school and have the medical team there. Another group will stay in Hermosillo for adult care home feeding and visitation with Amistad Cristiana (Duane Grasman`s church).
This afternoon and evening has planned an adule care home, Maria Luz Valenzuela, where we will be cleaning and serveing.
Also there will be a youth meeting in Miguel Aleman, womens coffee at Amor Fraternal and a marrieds ministry in Plan de Ayala.

(- I am going to try to get some team members to write some things on note cards that I will be able to share with you.)

Keep us in your prayers,
Thank you from all of us!

"Porque yo sé los pensamientos que tengo acerca de vosotros, dice Jehová, pensamientos de paz, y no de mal, para daros el fin que esperáis."
Jeremías 29:11

A prayer I have had in my heart: Lord, Give me your eyes for just one second, give me your eyes so I can see everything that I have been missing, give me your love for humanity, give me your heart for the broken hearted, give me your eyes so I can see those who are lost, broken hearted, searching... ( . . . todo para la gloria de Dios. All for the glory of God. 1 Cor 10:31)

  2. Thank you Charvel, you really blessed me with sharing what is going on, we really want to hear what is going on and how we can pray here in Vancouver. I had a vision for you there in Mexico that God took a knife and cut a square out of His heart and then he peeled back the skin and laid it over the team. It was so beautiful red and see through and I asked the Lord why He did that and He said, "I am giving the team My heart for My people". It truly brought tears to my eyes so Charvel's song that I love so much by Brandon Heath just confirmed that vision. Praying for you all, You are God's chosen missionaries for this time and this people, go for it!!

  3. What a blessing for us here at home to share in your experiences. It makes our prayers for you come alive and helps us share in your joys and prayer needs. Thank you, I hope that George is doing all right, not sick and behaving himself. Take care of him Charlie. Continue to share your joys, sorrows and needs so that we may share in your experience here at home.
